It' Happening

May 7, 2015
By Phyllis Sigal - Design Editor , OVParent

It's happening already.

She's growing up.

She's almost 5 months old as I write this and will be nearly 6 months old when you read this.

The milestones are passing me by. She rolled over. She's sitting up. Soon she'll be ingesting solid food. And crawling. And standing up. And ...

Oh, my where have the months gone!

Before I know it she'll be in kindergarten! And driving. And walking down the aisle.?And having babies of her own.

OK. OK. There I go ... spiraling out of control. Whoa, grandma!

But, you know, it happens like that.

I was looking through some baby photos of Amanda just the other day, and it seems like yesterday she was just a tiny thing, thinking about rolling over and on her way to eating solid food.

Yep, it happens like that.?Just like that.

Phyllis R. Sigal is design editor at The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register and designer of OV Parent. She is the mom of Amanda, 28, and Leland, 26, and mother-in-law of Christopher, 29. And grandmother to Norah Grace Seidler, 5 1/2 months.
