Repurpose old CDs into Christmas tree ornaments.

What you'll need:

Old CDs

Article Photos

Acrylic craft paint (variety of colors)

White or gel glue

Glitter (variety of colors)

Paint brushes

Ribbon

How to make it:

Start out by choosing a few paint colors to work with, and paint the CDs.

You may choose to keep colors separate or blend them all together. Try dipping the brush into a couple of colors at a time, and swirl the brush tip on the CD.

After the acrylics have dried (you can speed the process with a hair-dryer), squeeze a generous amount of white or gel glue and brush it all over the CDs. The more the better to ensure the real glitter stays put.

Liberally dust the CDs with glitter.

Tip the CDs upside down and tap any loose glitter off.

Once the CDs are completely dry, use a long length of gauzy ribbon to make a loop and a bow for each one.
