Can't bowl? Not to worry for the 2012 Bowl for Kids' Sake, is slated for 6 p.m. Friday at St. Clair Lanes, St. Clairsville.
"It's all about getting a team of five persons together and having a great time to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upper Ohio Valley," Dan Young, BFKS chair, said.
Each team member is responsible for raising $50, or $250 total for a five-person team, Young said. That entry fee entitles team members to attend Bowl for Kids' Sake, where they will enjoy a party with two games of bowling, shoe rental, an array of food and the opportunity to win door prizes.

"To earn their entry fees, team members can either sell tickets for an Apple iPad or $500 Best Buy gift card, or they can fund-raise with ideas of their own," Young said.
Young said Bowl for Kids' Sake is "a great opportunity for companies to encourage team-building among employees. The result is getting to take part in a fantastic party, all while helping Big Brothers Big Sisters."
Sponsorships are available for the event at the $350 level as an event sponsor and at $175 to sponsor a lane, Young said. A $50 donation will sponsor a "Little" for the event.
